Hello,

    This is a message to transgender, and transsexual Christians; particularly to those of you who are in the closet, or who are out, but standing on very shaky legs with respect to your sense of security in your relationship with the Lord.

    Rather than go into a lengthy sermon, we’ll keep it somewhat short, and simple. Here are the scripture references, (in order of appearance):
2 Corinthians 5:21;
John 3:15, 16;
Romans 3:22;
Matthew 11:19;
John 17:24;
Ephesians 1:4;
Ephesians 1:3-14.

Him who knew no sin [God]
made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.  Whosoever believes may, in Him, have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have eternal life. ...unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction.
Nonetheless, the following scripture really challenges people who cannot hear, and receive it:
Not all men can receive this saying, but they to whom it is given. For there are eunuchs, that were so born from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, that were made eunuchs by men: and there are eunuchs, that made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

    God is much more concerned about who you are, than about what you do. God loves you, Jesus loves you, Holy Spirit loves you, as the transgender, and/or transsexual person you are, complete with transition, and whatever transformations you must undergo in order for you to be your best life, and to shine your brightest light. God knew you would be transgender or transsexual in this life experience, and He has no problem with who you are, because that's how He chose you to be, for His glory, in Christ, before planet Earth existed. He chose you, then, as the transgender and/or transsexual man, or woman who you are, or are becoming, now.

    He has not said, "Come unto Me, I free you from everything that’s prevented you from being one with Me. I only have unconditional Love for you; but, I'll start streaming that as soon pay your first spiritual installment by renouncing the person I created you to be, for My glory."

    That doesn't even make sense, does it? Nonetheless, that is the type of communication we have perennially received from the traditional Church.

    At the time of this writing, it is July 2014. Before we get to 2016, a massive onslaught against the LGBT community, and LGBT born-again, Spirit-filled Christians is going to be launched from a global network of mega-churches. They own their own communication networks, transportation channels, and they are extremely skilled at distributing the hard line via a soft sell barrage. However, they are too fearful not to take the gloves off now, and it’s going to be a fight for your right to live your authentic relationship with Christ, as your authentic expression of God’s Love and Light, or [you'll probably] be forced into constraints that only suit their fears. The persecution of Christians by Christians is going to get much uglier, hideously so, before it gets better; and you have a choice:

    Anyone who claims to walk in Christ with you, and primarily feeds you denial, and fear like that is lying to you. (In John 8:44, Jesus clearly tells you from whom lies originate.) If they aren't speaking Love, if they aren't communicating in Spirit, bearing the fruit of the Spirit, (instead of signs decrying, and denouncing you), then, they are feeding your mind, your psyche, and even your spirit with rot. The more you eat it, the more you become like it. So, don't buy it--don't even take it when it's handed out freely.

     If your church home is anti-LGBT, but you really enjoy the love you feel there--except when that anti-LGBT head rears up, and starts snapping, and spitting--find a new church home, and leave that dysfunctional imitation of Love to go where it will. You may be thinking that fellowship is vital for you, and wondering where you may find a new church home. Well, if you go to Wikipedia, and look up "LGBT Christian Denominations", you will find a URL with a long list of them. and congregations that are not "LGBT" per se, and that extend zero discrimination toward us. From staid, and conservative, to radical, and progressive, there are more than enough options there for you to find a new local church wherein you may grow in Christ, with others-in-Christ who love you, as you are, now, through transition and beyond--or, if you've transitioned, and they eventually find out, their warmth won't instantly become glacial cold, and their fuzzy closeness won't become "I need to love you at a distance now".

     Thinking more radically, if you are living in a vibrant, intimate relationship with the Lord, but you've been so discouraged by the religiosity of Christianity, to the extent that you don't ever wanna go into a church again, that's okay. Given the choice between relationship with Jesus, and commitment to Christianity, regard the fact that Jesus didn't incarnate to start a new religion.

     Religion is a distinctly human construct. It developed with human civilization. Although it may be focused on God, and may be used by God, it, fundamentally, is not of God. However, in Christ, you are before religion came into existence.

    John 17:24 reveals that, within God, Jesus was loved before the foundation of the world.
    Ephesians 1:4 goes further to state that God chose you, in Christ, before the foundation of the world.

     So, since your relationship with the Lord precedes the dawn of humanity, therein, you are not bound by the constraints of any given religion. If Jesus is the baby, religion is the bath water--religion is expendable; the Lord will never leave you, so don’t throw Him out with the water. When you're ready to fellowship again, He will lead you to the best congregation to receive your spiritual gifts, and to minister to you.

     You are guided by Holy Spirit, by Wisdom, and by Jesus Himself--listen to His Voice, the whisper of Spirit within you, and, as He instructed His other disciples, follow Him. Live in the liberty of your salvation, and do not believe that anything about your gender orientation is a deterrent to any blessing of God, any aspect of God's Spirit, or His Love, or His Light reaching you, illuminating you, enlightening you, and shining through you.

     When people didn't want what He had to share with them, while He was here on Earth, Jesus just walked away, left them to their choices. The traditional Church is heavily laden with, and beset by a dramatic contingent that is committed to fear, denial, hate, and other fruits of Darkness. It's time for the Christian Left to either push back against the Christian Right, or to remarkably reframe itself in non-alignment with the Right. Go to the Left, be with people who value you as a spirit of God, and join one of their congregations, make new friends, and spiritual family. Be among them, and help them to assert the glory of God with the exponential boost of God's Love through you.

     Finally, whenever questions about your gender identity compromising God’s ability to Love you arise, proclaim this scripture as your own, and never forget this:
    Blessed be the God and Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed me with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ: even as [God] chose me in [Christ] before the foundation of the world, that I should be holy and without blemish before Him in love:  having foreordained me unto adoption as {a daughter, or son, (whichever is appropriate)} through Jesus Christ unto Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on me in the Beloved: in whom I have my redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of my trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which He made to abound toward me in all Wisdom and prudence, making known unto me the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Him unto a dispensation of the fulness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in Him, I say, in whom also I was made a heritage, having been foreordained according to the purpose of Him who works all things after the counsel of His will; to the end that I should be unto the praise of His glory, I who had before hoped in Christ: in whom I also, having heard the word of the Truth, the Gospel of my salvation,-- in whom, having also believed, I was sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, which is an earnest of my inheritance, unto the redemption of God's own possession, unto the praise of His glory.
                [That has GOT to be one of the most wonder-full run-on sentences in literature. Hallelujah!]

     If you have opened your heart to Him, and entered into a personal relationship with Him, Jesus will never leave, or forsake you; however, He will respect your choice to walk away from Him. It's better to walk away with Him, to others who walk with Him too, in the full Anointing, Peace, and Blessing of your individual, and collective salvation.

May
    the Lord bless you, and keep you;
    the Lord make his face shine on you, and be gracious to you;
    the Lord turn his face toward you, and give you peace.

Amen!!!
